Case Studies: Theme Park

As one of the top attractions in the UK, Thorpe Park is synonymous with fun and thrilling days out for families. Recognising the need for improving inclusivity and providing toileting facilities for those who have additional needs, Thorpe Park teamed up with OpeMed to install their new Changing Places toilet.

The Changing Places campaign is designed to encourage public facilities to provide vital accessible toilets that people of varying abilities that cannot use standard accessible toilets could use. This includes people with profound learning disabilities, their carers, as well as other disabled people.

The Legoland Hotel in Windsor have installed 2 OpeMed Portable Hoist Systems into 2 of the 14 accessible bedrooms.
