Making family home accessible is a very rewarding experience for us at OpeMed. We get the opportunity to see our equipment helping people and improving their everyday lives. One such project was for a London based family home which we were invited to adapt and help to turn a house into a home. 

As a manufacturer of Ceiling Hoists we work hard to provide innovative solutions to support our customer’s needs. This case study covers details on our flush track system that when used in conjunction with our OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist, is an effective way of optimising space aesthetically.

Working with specialist and generalist architects has proven that OpeMed have the turnkey skills required to manage case management projects including minor and major house renovations.

For this homecare adaptation project OpeMed worked closely with the building team at Carmalor, a leading regional construction company. The new-build adaptation features 6,000 square ft. of space to accommodate 5 bedrooms, carer’s quarters and a hydrotherapy pool.
