OTAC Llanelli and Bush & Co; Case Manager Focused Seminars and Live Ceiling Hoist Demos

Bush & Company is the largest and fastest growing provider of Expert Witness, immediate needs assessment and Case Management services in the UK. They have provided a service to injured people, to Solicitors and to insurance companies for over 30 years. As OpeMed continue to work closely with Case Managers to help them offer the best equipment and support their projects, it is more than appropriate for us to return to the Bush & Co Annual Conference once again.

This year’s conference is titled ‘Breaking the Pain Barrier’: Improving Outcomes in Pain Management’ and will be taking place at the Aston Villa Football Club, Villa Park, Birmingham on Tuesday 10th July 2018.

Chronic pain affects 20% of the population and is the largest global health burden. The conference looks at developing the understanding of some of the physiology and psychology of pain as well as quantifying pain within the Courtroom. It will also look towards strategies of overcoming pain barriers to aid rehabilitation and how modern neuroscience is providing answers as our understanding of pain advances will also be covered.

OpeMed will be showcasing our OT200 Ceiling Hoist and Monarch Portable Hoist, mounted on our OpeTrack Free Standing Gantry to offer live demonstrations. Our Product Specialist will also be on hand to support you with any questions and offer free consultations as well as any project advice you might need.

Another upcoming event that we anticipate in our calendar is the OTAC Llanelli exhibition, held on Wednesday 11th July 2018 at The Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli.

OpeMed are very acquainted with OTAC and have frequently returned following each annual success. For their 13^th event, OTAC are offering the chance for visitors to network with other industry professionals whilst gaining invaluable CPD opportunities for free.

This represents a fantastic opportunity to see our Ceiling Hoists in action and one of our Height Adjustable Baths, to get a feel for the equipment in person and discuss previous, successful case studies in depth with our Product Specialist and find out how we could best support your project.

OpeMed Managing Director, Nick Kent will be hosting a seminar sharing his considerable experience as one of the leading manufacturers and installers of ceiling hoists. Nick will be highlighting the dos and don’ts of layouts of Ceiling Hoists, Assisted Baths and Changing Tables, what’s possible, what’s not and what to avoid. Example case studies will be shown alongside actual layouts, and free and useful tools will be provided for OT’s and Case Managers.
