9th June marked OpeMed’s 4th exhibition at Kidz to Adultz South and 2016 proved busier and better than ever. It was great to have so many parents, OT’s and Case Managers take the time to visit our stand to see our equipment in action.
We showcased a range of products; our electric height adjustable changing table, theelectric height adjustable shower trolley, hydrotherapy bath with neatfold changing table and a working ceiling mounted XY to XY (room to room) hoist system.
The range of products demonstrated can all be supplied as a turn-key service by OpeMed. The beauty of this for case managers and parents alike is the obvious cost savings of using one party as well as a single point of contact, simplifying communication and minimising the risk of errors.
Equally well received was our unique magnetic gate system, which allows a smooth and safe connection between two XY systems, commonly between the bedroom and bathroom. We had such a system set up on Thursday, and it was a pleasure to see the interaction of all who came and tried out the working room-to-room system. Mums, Carers and OTs can easily, safely and quietly transfer between rooms and our OT200 Hoist further highlights how far the technology has come.
