OpeMed are delighted to be attending the Occupational Therapy Adaptation Conference 2016 in Reading this coming Monday 11th April to exhibit at the Hilton Hotel, Reading.
The conference will allow you to gain valuable knowledge around adaptations and equipment, not only for personal development and reflection, but to also to enable you to showcase the value an Occupational Therapist can bring within housing adaptations regardless of your working environment within Health and Social Care.

“An insight into Changing Places and Accessible Bathrooms”
Join us in Seminar Room 3 at 13:15pm. This seminar will provide insight into Assisted Bathrooms and Changing Places requirements and criteria. We will discuss importance of the campaign and how the right equipment in can make all the difference.
On completion of the seminar, delegates should:
- Have gained an understanding of the benefits of Changing Places and future of the Changing Places Campaign
- Have an insight into the equipment required and the standards of a Changing Places facility.
- Be aware of the the importance of specifying the right equipment in an accessible bathroom environment. (Ceiling Hoists, Assisted Baths, Changing Tables, Height Adjustable Washbasins etc.)
