As only the second Premiership Football Club to install a Changing Places, Liverpool FC have taken the next step towards supporting their disabled fan base. The facility includes a mobile hoist, a changing bench in team colours, a toilet with grab rails and a room big enough to support turning space and up-to two carers.
Changing Places provide life changing facilities for thousands of people nationwide with multiple and complex disabilities. These specially designed rooms enable users and their family and carers to plan and enjoy days and weekends away from home in the knowledge that they have the correct, suitable facilities in place to support them on arrival. The Changing Places within the grounds of Liverpool FC will enable fans of the game and stadium users the opportunity to enjoy a hassle free day in which they previously may have needed to leave early or miss out on completely.
