First Day of Filming At Local Holiday Home Complete For OpeMed
Capturing Flat Spaces Holiday Home, – Ropley, Hampshire
Yesterday we were delighted to head back to Flat Spaces, a wonderful purpose built Holiday Home for the disabled community in the heart of Hampshire, to film our latest demonstration video.
Flat Spaces is the brainchild of Tom Yendall a man known for his work with the Mouth and Foot Painters Association. As the founder, Tom’s mission is to enable those with severe disabilities to take a holiday, in the full knowledge and confidence that their needs will be catered for. The vision is to provide high quality, fully accessible holiday accommodation for the severely disabled and less abled traveller by means of a UK and overseas network of well equipped, internally identical flat space bungalows.
OpeMed has been proud to support the Flat Spaces endeavour, donating a range of specialist equipment to ensure holiday makers of all abilities will be fully accommodated.
Yesterday marked the first day of filming where by we were able to join the Edmonds Family as they demonstrated the range of equipment available at Flat Spaces Holiday Home. We followed young Cameron and his Mum, Lisa, as they told us what it really means to them to be able to stay in a truly accessible holiday home and spoke to Tom Yendall on how he put together the concept of Flat Spaces.
With day two of filming coming up tomorrow, we look forward to being able to demonstrate our range of equipment, from the OT200 Compact Ceiling Hoist on flush recessed tracking, to a range of bathroom essentials.
We will also be demonstrating our latest products from the Monarch Portable Hoist and Telescopic Reacher Arm to our new Portable Gantry System.
Keep checking back here as our will be video coming soon.
