Disabled Access Day

Disabled Access Day is an annual event, to raise awareness of the access issues faced by the disabled community.  The first event took place Saturday, January 17, 2015 and over 200 organisation took part across the UK and further afield. This Saturday, 12th March 2016, businesses such as Barclays Bank, Strada Restaurant, Caffè Nero and many many more are gearing up to take part in this year’s #AccessDay.

Disabled Access Day - Welcome Break

Welcome Break – We are thrilled to have installed Changing Places into four Welcome Break Service Stations providing vital confidence to the disabled community as they travel across the UK.

You can find a Welcome Break Changing Places at Membury West (M4), South Mimms (M25), Hopwood (M42) and Gordano (M5).

Airports – Over the last year we have installed Changing Places into major airports including Heathrow (Terminal 4) and Stansted Airport (Landside and Airside). These vital facilities are perfectly positioned in these important amenities.

Football Stadiums – A fan of football? Interested in going to watch a match or maybe you just want to have a tour? No worries! We have installed Changing Places at Arsenal Emirates Stadium, Liverpool Anfield Stadium, Brighton and Hove or Manchester United Old Trafford Stadium?

Museums – Fancy visiting somewhere fun this Disabled Access Day? Why don’t you try visiting Milestones Living History. A great chance to explore what life was like for Hampshire people in the past by wandering through Milestones’ old cobbled streets. And as you wander round you may also encounter some of our costumed characters…Enthusiasts will enjoy our collection of beautifully restored vintage vehicles – and so will kids of all ages! With an OpeMed installed Changing Places, this museum is a perfect location to visit.
