Nursing Home Portable Ceiling Hoist – Surrey

The OpeMed portable ceiling hoist is ideal for multiple users or multiple locations as it can be unhooked and transported with the user. If a ceiling hoist is only required occasionally or to keep costs to a minimum by sharing the motor between rooms, OpeMed can install our discreet track over the bed, in the bathroom or lounge and our lightweight portable motor can easily be carried between rooms and hooked onto the track.

If a ceiling hoist is only required occasionally or to keep costs to a minimum by sharing the motor between rooms, OpeMed can install our discreet track over the bed, in the bathroom or lounge and our lightweight portable motor can easily be carried between rooms and hooked onto the track.

The portable ceiling hoist can be hooked onto high ceilings using the handle. If travelling from room to room we can install track through the door header, or if a structural door header the OpeMed portable ceiling hoist swings underneath using a secondary strap. Positioning is critical and the track is normally installed 1100mm from the wall, crossing the bed to allow wheelchair transfer.
