Arsenal FC Changing Places Hosts 100 Voices
100 Voices Event Held By Arsenal FC in Changing Places Facility
Following the installation of the much anticipated Changing Places facility at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium earlier this year, we are pleased to discover that Emirates have taken a booking for The 100 Voices event which is run by The Brandon Trust. The event which will be attended by more than 200 people with learning difficulties and their support workers is being held to celebrate their 20th Birthday Celebrations.
Lucy Hurst-Brown, Chief Exec of The Brandon Trust, said “100 Voices is by far the most important event on our annual calendar. It’s a critical moment for us to hear, understand and act upon the views of the people we support” quotation taken from the Islington Gazette.
The Brandon Trust event held on Friday 6th September marked the first event held at Arsenal which specifically has attendees with various learning difficulties; a real landmark for Premiership Football Stadiums. We feel that as the co-sponsor of The Changing Places Campaign (Aveso), the benefit to organisations such as The Brandon Trust of having suitable facilities for safe and hygienic hoisting and changing is invaluable and should be readily available at any conference centre or stadium. There is also an obvious benefit to organisations such as Arsenal who can now offer events which accommodate for a wider audience of attendees.
