Forming a Stronger Brand in Europe: Acquisition of TZ- Projects

Effective Oct. 1, TZ-Projects has been acquired by the OpeMed and United Care Group. Founder of TZ-Projects René Kooymans has over thirty years experience in the direct care, patient handling and transfer and is a leading player in Ceiling Hoists in Holland. René started as B-nurse and later he rolled management within the Psychogeriatric sector, from there, he has taken the step into a commercial function in the field of apparatus and devices.

Acquisition of TZ Projects

René stated “I am delighted to become part of the group alongside OpeMed and United Care. This will make each other’s company stronger and is time for a closer acquaintance, our merger makes 1 + 1 = 3 really true and further strengthens our representation in Eastern Netherlands”.

OpeMed manufacture and sell Patient Hoists and related products internationally and United Care in the Netherlands. Both companies are the market leader or the fastest growing player in their sector.
