The OpeMax 500 is a compact yet versatile passive lifter with a unique self-balancing patient cradle ideal for sitting the user up and lying them down with minimal manual handling. The cradle has a flexible double joint, which enables easy sling attachment and ensures the user is always at their natural point of gravity. The curved design ensures that the user can rotate 360° without making contact with the hoist unit. The Passive Lifter has powered legs operated via hand control and a choice of 3 spreader bars that can be changed dependent upon user, making the OpeMax 500 a flexible solution.

The OpeRaise and OpeRaise Plus hoist is designed for standing, sitting, dressing, toileting and gait training for users with low core or leg strength. The hoist has a compact footprint as well as powered opening and closing legs for easy maneuverability. The leg supports mounted on the hoist are adjustable to consider pressure points and compatibility for different heights of user. Other features of the OpeRaise units are plastic leg protectors for minimised damage and infection control as well as easy clip sling attachment and a non-slip removable foot tray.

The OpeMax 880 uniquely is the only bariatric patient handling system with a powered multi-directional drive wheel. This drive wheel system provides effortless repositioning of the hoist as it automatically reduces the power to assist in correctly positioning the hoist. The system requires significantly less carers than a standard model as the hoist operates via 8 fixing points and an XL spreader bar for a larger coverage, the curved design of the OpeMax 880 enables a pick up from the floor and lift onto high surfaces. This hoist model features a double actuator system for power and double front castors to prevent sinkage, plastic leg protectors are also fitted to minimize damage and risk of cross infection.

OpeMed’s Mover activates and supports users with reduced leg strength, or with reduced balance, and helps the movement between chair, wheelchair, toilet or bed.

The Mover turn seat supports to the side and then the user’s feet are placed on the footplate and user can grab the handle. The user will then lean forward slightly to pull themselves up to a standing position. The carer can turn the seat support down and user can be seated and moved to a wheelchair, toilet and bed.
