OT200 Ceiling Hoist launches its auto-recharge function (powers itself whenever lowering, negating the need for power on the rail and giving over 150 charges per lift). "The OT200 ceiling hoist has a real benefit when busy carers forget to charge the hoist and much simpler and more cost effective to install than a powered ceiling track system".

OpeMed launches Smart Bath
The unique patented door of the Smart Bath allows full access for a wheelchair user to transfer into the bath, as well as a mobile bather to step in and turn around with ease. The “rise and twist” mechanism allows the bath to be installed in the smallest of bathrooms, and an optional pump can be fitted for quick fill/drainage. See Smart Bath for more information.

With growing cases of standard toilet seats cracking and the risk of injury this could cause, Opemed is proud to launch its Bariatric Toilet Seat - a freestanding toilet seat that sits just above the standard pan and with an impressive capacity of 444kg/ 70st/ 980lbs. The shape has been specially designed for bariatric patients. The seat is extremely stable, even during lateral transfer and has adjustable supports for the back wall if required.
